Area Served

Because Chicago and its surrounding suburban areas are so large, it is difficult to organize events that everyone in our area can attend easily.  An event might sound great to you, but if it is 50 miles away, or getting there or home will trap you in rush hour traffic, then you're not likely to go.  It's a problem we've all encountered.  To solve this, CGCC tries to hold events in different regions:


  • Far North Suburbs
  • North Suburbs
  • City of Chicago
  • West Suburbs
  • Far West Suburbs (Woodridge, Naperville, St. Charles, etc.)
  • South Suburbs

All members are welcome to attend events in any region.

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.

We  are an all volunteer-based organization that relies on annual memberships from parents, professionals, and supporters to provide organizers with web site operations, a registration system, event insurance, background checks, etc.
