Climate change: the 21st century’s challenge

A public lecture by David Archer (University of Chicago) and Hervé Le Treut (French Academy of Sciences)

The vast majority of climate scientists now agree that human-induced climate change exists, but there is much ongoing research and debate. The consequences and impact of human activities on climate are becoming a reality for many of us. Thus, our society is confronted with the urgent need for a wise response to potential climate change.

But what is really ongoing, and what next? Is the global warming real, after such a cold winter? Of course it is. Attending this conference will help you to understand how the climate is changing, how we can see it and what will be the consequences to our everyday life.

Two public lectures by the keynote speakers of the day, followed by a Q&A with the audience and a reception. Exclusive occasion to attend a lecture with such talented FR-US scientists.

Free, registration required.
