FAMILY SUNDAYS
New series for visitors ages 5-12

Introducing Family Sundays, a new afternoon affair for tots, tikes, and tweens, ages 5-12, the first Sunday of the month. Each Family Sunday will include:

+Short 20 minute tours
+Story time in the Hull-House Museum library and book sales
+Activities and crafts for families connected to monthly theme

In support of working families at the turn of the 20th century, the Hull-House Settlement engaged children in groundbreaking programs, clubs and activities in addition to opening the city's first public playground and kindergarten. The Hull-House reformers along with progressive educators like John Dewey and Maria Montessori re-framed childhood, emphasizing children's agency, experience, and play. Become part of this radical history at the Hull-House museum's Family Sundays series.
