Andy Mahoney:  Understanding Giftedness in Your Child 


In this talk Andy will be discussing the role executive function development plays in achievement, understanding vulnerabilities and sensitivities in gifted children, and how to identity early indicators of learning challenges. We encourage everyone to come with their burning questions about giftedness and their children!

Andy Mahoney, director of the Center for Identity Potential, is a nationally recognized expert and pioneer in the field of counseling the gifted. His expertise spans nearly 30 years and he has conducted numerous parenting talks on topics related to giftedness such as gifted education, and the social-emotional development of the gifted.
