What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At TEDxNaperville, TEDTalks and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and personal connections.

What is TEDxNaperville?

TEDxNaperville brings the brightest minds of Chicagoland and beyond to Naperville for an annual event based on highlighting ideas worth spreading. TEDxNaperville's inaugural event was held in 2010 and was a roaring success with over 200 attendees and 8 speakers. Since then, TEDxNaperville has grown to become a major venue for spreading ideas and inspiring change.

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.

We  are an all volunteer-based organization that relies on annual memberships from parents, professionals, and supporters to provide organizers with web site operations, a registration system, event insurance, background checks, etc.
