What is the Parent Support Series?

Our RNBC professionals will provide practical advice for supporting any child experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges, regardless of diagnosis.

 

Who should attend?
Parents, caregivers, teachers and the general public are welcome to attend these free educational seminars.

 

Where are they located?
Presentations in the series will be held at  Rush NeuroBehavioral Center. 4711 Golf Road, Suite 1100 in Skokie, Illinois.

Helping Your Child Develop Executive Function Skills
Georgia Bozeday, Ed.D. | 6:30 p.m. — 8:30 p.m.
Executive Function skills impact student performance across all subject areas in school, social situations, and at home. Dr. Georgia Bozeday will present an overview of current research from neuroscience describing the impact of the 21st Century influences on students today, including information about recent findings related to media use and learning. Dr. Bozeday will provide recommendations for parents as they work with their children to develop strategies for improved organization and time management skills.
