Family Program: Little Scribe

FAMILY PROGRAM: Little Scribe
  
Can you imagine a world without writing? Learn how writing began, how it changed over time, and how it changed the world forever through this hands-on program. Meet people who lived thousands of years ago through the written messages they left behind through a writing-focused tour of the OI's galleries. Try your hand at two of the world's most ancient written languages.

Presentations and guided writing-themed tours begin at 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, and 3:30pm. Recommended for families with youths aged 9-14, and All youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Free. Pre-registration recommended, but not required.

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.
