Family Festival

Join us for a free day of discovery, creativity, and family fun inspired by the exhibition Impressionism, Fashion,

and Modernity. Explore activity stations for all ages (from toddlers to teens) led by Family Programs staff, guest artists, and our cultural arts partners from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Hellenic Museum, the Lurie Garden, and the National Museum of Mexican Art in the Ryan Education Center as well as in selected museum gallery locations. Meet the Art Institute’s mascot, Artie the Lion!

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.

We  are an all volunteer-based organization that relies on annual memberships from parents, professionals, and supporters to provide organizers with web site operations, a registration system, event insurance, background checks, etc.
