Last of the Doughboys: The Forgotten Generation and Their Forgotten World War

At this joint presentation by Cantigny’s First Division Museum and the Robert R. McCormick Museum, author Richard Rubin will discuss his new book, The Last of the Doughboys: The Forgotten Generation and Their Forgotten World War. Rubin spent 10 years finding and interviewing the last living veterans of WWI. His book goes beyond military history to reveal the voices of those who fought in the epic “War to End All Wars.”

The Cantigny Shop will be open before the lecture and book copies will be available after the program as well. Mr. Rubin will autograph copies following his talk.

Reservations suggested but not required.

Visitors Center, Doors open at 6:30, lecture starts at 7 pm
Free admission, no parking fee.
