Join the Forest Preserve and Chicago Wilderness for this “Leave No Child Inside” event. Come out and experience the many ways FPDCC has been fulfilling its mission to preserve, protect and restore the scenic beauties of Cook County. Check out the equipment used for restoration activities, speak with a wildlife biologist or ecologist, meet some of the local fish and learn about all the recreation opportunities. Enjoy our children’s Explore Nature area and participate in crafts and activities. Click here for details.

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.

We  are an all volunteer-based organization that relies on annual memberships from parents, professionals, and supporters to provide organizers with web site operations, a registration system, event insurance, background checks, etc.
