Does Your Child Get Frustrated or Give Up Easily?

It is never easy to see children give up before they have tried something new. Learning to be persistent in the face of challenge is one of the most important tools children can develop on the path to becoming successful adults.

In this talk, we use the work of Carol Dweck and her book Mindset to outline two different attitudes that children (and adults) develop towards persistence. Then, we focus on specific strategies that parents can implement to foster the growth mindset in their children.
