What I Wish I'd Known

Gifted 101

Presented by Friends of the Gifted (FRoG) of Downers Grove

Raising a gifted child presents its own unique set of joys and challenges.  Many of us have learned to navigate those waters through trial and error, which isn't always the easiest method.

Join us as Newenka DuMont, founding President of the Gifted Education Cooperative in Hinsdale shares her knowledge and experience with us.  Newenka will discuss the Characteristics of Gifted Children, Common Problems for Gifted Children, Testing and Identification, and Education. The workshop is a designed to be a combination presentation and round table-discussion to address more specific questions you might have about parenting a gifted child.

Free, but registration required.  See FRoG web site for details: http://www.dgfrog.org/
