fend o- the next wave of invaders. Play is highly competitive.

Conquest of the Empire (Eagle Games, 2nd Century, Roman Empire)

Players represent competing Caesars endeavoring to become the sole ruler of the Roman Empire. Each player begins with a power base on the Mediterranean Sea, expands to adjacent

Age of Imperialism (Eagle Games, 19th Century, Europe, Africa, Asia, & Pacic Islands)

Players represent European Powers forming or expanding colonial empires. They develop resources, build cities, establish schools, train engineers, develop railroad networks, and eventually conquer colonies from other players or negotiate treaties to defend them. Play is highly competitive and requires both economic development and military strategy.

Diplomacy (Hasbro, 20th Century, Europe)

Players represent the seven Great Powers of Europe prior to World War I. Players negotiate alliances and coordinate attacks to expand their empires at the expense of others. Play is highly competitive. There is no element of luck; the players' own decisions determine the outcome.

September, 1939:

The greatest war in history is about to erupt. The German Army is

poised on the borders of Poland, about to attack. England and France have pledged to go to war in defense of Poland. Take control of one of the major or minor powers of the world, and reght World War II in your own way, on the huge 4 foot by 8 foot map of the World in 1939. Negotiate alliances, plan your strategy as you combat the forces of Germany, Japan, and Italy as they try to conquer the World. Similar to Axis and Allies, though with more countries involved, the game uses a detailed combat system to as

accurately as possible simulate World War II.
