A 70-minute opera adventure created especially for children ages 5 to 12 and their families. Don Pasquale is Donizetti’s great Italian comedy about an older man who marries a younger woman - and gets much more than he bargained for! Under the guidance of famed Chicago actor Ross Lehman, the audience will enjoy selected songs and scenes from Lyric’s production, interviews with the characters, and demonstrations of set changes and other stagecraft. In the Civic Opera House with the mainstage cast, orchestra, costumes, and sets! Tickets to this performance are also available for individual families.
