Parent Conversations:  Exploring Best Practices for Gifted Children

Please note changes to this event as we all transition to a summer schedule.  We will meet once a month on these dates: June 14 and July 12.  We will take the month of August for off for vacation, and will resume in September. 

The topic of our July 12 conversation is Advocating for Our Gifted and 2E Children.  Here's some resources to get our conversation flowing.  Don't worry if you  don't have time to read you're insight and experiences are always welcome in our conversations that building understanding and community.

Parent Conversations welcomes everyone, and aspires to address gifted topics, and provide informative articles and resources.  Please join us to listen, participate, collect resources, share ideas and create a community that supports gifted parenting. Topic suggestions welcome and will change each session.  No time to read? Don't let that stop you from joining these inspiring conversations with other gifted parents and Katherine Peterson, CGCC Board Member / Facilitator. Other CGCC Board Members, including Carole Jones, CGCC President,  may join the discussions, as they are able.  Aileen Kelleher, LCSW, CGCC Professional and Board member is out on maternity leave.   Please feel free to reach out to Katherine Peterson, CGCC Board Member & Parent Discussion Facilitator with questions or ideas. 

Please note:  we will continue to limit the number of participants to 10 people.  Please sign up only if you intend to attend & cancel if you are unable to attend.  This format allows us to have manageable conversations and sufficient time for the quality discussions we all yearn for.
