  • August 04, 2012
  • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Moraine Valley Community College, Palos Hills

Chibots, the Chicago Area Robotics Group, presents the SRS Robo-Magellan Midwest Competition 2012.  In this competition, contestant's robots must locate a defined number of orange cones in the least amount of time.  At this outdoor event, robots are faced with challenging obstacles such as blades of grass, unaware bystanders, bushes, hills and uneven terrain.

If this competition or robotics in general intersts you or you are curious on how to start in the field of robotics, come and meet the people behind the marvels of engineering.  They will be happy to answer your questions.

Event and parking are free and open to the public.  Competition entry fee is $10, free for paid ChiBots members.
