Parent Conversations:  Exploring Best Practices for Gifted Children

Stay  tuned for changes to this schedule as we transition to summer.  Please note:  we will continue to limit the number of participants to 10 people.  Please sign up only if you intend to attend & cancel if you are unable to attend.  This format allows us to have manageable conversations and sufficient time for the quality discussions we all yearn for.

Parent Conversations welcomes everyone, and aspires to address gifted topics, and provide informative articles and resources.  Please join us to listen, participate, collect resources, share ideas and create a community that supports gifted parenting. Topic suggestions welcome and will change each session.  No time to read? Don't let that stop you from joining these inspiring conversations with other gifted parents and Katherine Peterson, CGCC Board Member / Facilitator. Other CGCC Board Members, including Carole Jones, CGCC President, and Aileen Kelleher, LCSW, CGCC Professional and Board Member will join the discussions, as they are able.  Please feel free to reach out to Katherine Peterson, CGCC Board Member & Parent Discussion Facilitator with questions or ideas.

This week's topic is Gifted Parenting Inspiration.   We will read and discuss inspirational ideas from valued gifted community's mentors and advocates. Please join us for a lively discussion to launch your summer transition with positive vibes and community.   Katherine will read aloud from the following resources from which we will discuss and share kernels of knowledge, support and understanding.
