GECO's Annual Picnic in the Park with Shakespeare

  • August 01, 2012
  • 6:30 PM
  • Mayslake Peabody Estate, Oak Brook

Join GECO (Gifted Education Cooperative) families for a picnic followed by Shakespeare under the stars presented by the acclaimed First Folio Theater Company.  Have your picnic in front of the stage beginning at 6:30 pm and bring along a dessert to share with other GECO families.  Also consider bringing bug spray, a comfy chair and a warm blanket.  The production will begin at 8:15 pm.  Once the production has concluded the fun really begins with a talkback session with actors followed by a backstage tour given by First Folio managing diretor David Rice.

First Folio has offered GECO families a special group price of $22.50 for students and adults alike.  Tickets can be ordered online at First Folio using "GECO" in the coupon code field.  If you have any questions contact Newenka DuMont at Newenka@ArvaMont.com.  Not a GECO member?  No problem, come anyway and see how much fun they have.  Or you could become a member today: GECO membership
