A Condensed 8-week Discussion Series
for Parents of Gifted Children of all ages with facilitators:
Katherine Peterson and Aileen Kelleher, LCSW*
What inspires and motivates your gifted child is qualitatively individual, and the subject of much concern for parents. Holistic understanding of this fact and framing your child’s gifted qualities including intensity, sensitivity, perfectionism, underachievement (and so many others!) can help improve your connection with your child, come closer to their needs, and your hopes as a family.
Please join us for a series of facilitated discussions based on the work of notable gifted advocates. In these discussions we build community, help the isolation of parenting a gifted child, disentangle common myths about the gifted experience, and support your family to identify your unique path to parenting. Together we learn how to support and understand the qualitatively different trajectory of the gifted journey.
