THIS CLASS WILL MEET VIA ZOOM ON WEDNESDAYS AT 1:00pm. THERE WILL BE NO CLASS ON WEDNESDAY, 3/31.

This science class will meet via Zoom using Generation Genius - a K-8 teaching resource that brings school science standards to life through fun and secular educational videos paired with lesson plans, activities, quizzes, reading material and more - in combination with the Google Classroom.

Class Requirements: Students or parents will need to link to the classroom with a Gmail account.

All weekly lesson experiments will be done outside of classroom time, so students aren't rushed during class time to finish them. Students will be expected to complete their experiment on their own time and then share their experiment at the beginning of the following class via video, photos, or live with their classmates. Most lesson experiments can be easily made with items already on hand. Some experiments will require purchasing materials.

The GG Curriculum is produced in partnership with the National Science Teaching Association, and aligned to standards in all 50 states. Curriculum Standards can be found at: https://www.generationgenius.com/standards/

Cost $10.50

Teacher: Joan Clous
