Come and explore some of the world's greatest artists! Each week, we will explore a different artist and use their technique to make some creative work. Class will begin with information about the artist, followed by a brief examination of some of their famous artworks (especially those relating to the project for the day). The children will then create their own project using the technique of the artist we have learned about. This class is aimed at 5-7 year olds (younger children may need parental assistance). Dress for a mess every week (bring your own smock). All other supplies will be provided.

Teacher: Ruth Sherwin (TA: Cecily Durbin)

Ages: 5-7

Materials Fee: $20

Homework: None

Min/max: 2/10

Ruth Sherwin is a kind and enthusiastic young artist who looks forward to introducing children younger than herself to a variety of fun messy artistic techniques.
