Welcome to the magical land of Foon, where knowledge of data science and statistics is essential if we are to defeat the forces of the Dark Lord! Truly the pen (and the dice) shall be mightier than the blade as we discover statistical magicks and then employ them to destroy monsters, besiege castles, storm dungeons, amass treasure, and more!

Understanding data science and statistical analysis is one of the most useful, most fascinating, and least studied part of mathematics. Join Sarah in exploring these wonderful tools and see the world in a new way!

Classes will be approximately 57% study and 43% gaming. No prior roleplaying experience necessary; all necessary supplies will be provided.

Minimum/maximum number of students: 4/8

Age range:  11+ (younger with teacher permission)

Price: $26

Class prerequisites: High School Algebra 1 course or equivalent - this is a high school level math course

Teacher: Sarah Alexander

Sarah Alexander is a DM and certified (certifiable?) math nerd who plays with equations for fun. She sees math everywhere, in this realm and others, and loves to show people how cool math can be.
