"CIERA Astronomer Evenings" are programs that take place at Northwestern's Dearborn Observatory on the last Friday of each month. Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA) website.
July 12th is a special "extra" event focused on the moon, in celebration of the Apollo 11 landing 50 years ago. Astronomers will be onsite to present a special talk about the moon, and to answer any astronomy-related questions you may have.
Admission is free and all are welcome.

Unfortunately the Dearborn Observatory is NOT ADA-accessible. There is no elevator in the building. Several staircases must be climbed in order to reach the telescope. However, at most special events (weather permitting) portable telescopes are placed outside, and those are accessible to all.
