In this class we will explore logic in all of its many-splendored forms. We will learn about cognitive biases, re-enact famous experiments such as the Prisoner's Dilemma, wrestle with logic problems, and more.

Learning how to think problems through logically is useful not only in math studies but for life in general, and our class will teach skills for both of those goals.

Teacher: Sarah Alexander

Minimum/maximum number of students: 4/10

Age range: 7-11

Supply Fee: $26.50

Sarah Alexander is a certified (or was that certifiable?) math nerd, and loves all things logical. She used to wish to be as logical as a computer, but after seeing how illogical computers have become she has decided to go old-school and model herself on Spock.
