Learning Problems Could Be in the Eyes!

Monday, March 12th at 6:15 pm

Clarendon Vision Development Center

760 Pasquinelli Drive, Suite 300

Westmont, IL 60559

Presented by: Dr. Monika Spokas Developmental Optometrist

80% of how the child learns in school is through vision. The way the eyes work together can affect a person’s ability to read, process and understand information. If any of the 17 visual skills (including aiming, tracking, focusing and scanning) are not functioning properly, it can have a tremendous impact on learning and make reading a significant challenge. Children with undiagnosed vision problems often develop behavior problems. Many will avoid reading and doing homework at any cost.
