Invites You to Attend Our

Lunch and Learn: Let's Talk About Failure

Join us for an educational, open and inspirational dialogue with parents, teachers, and professionals over lunch! Gail Reich, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor will be presenting on failure. No one likes experiencing failure, especially teenagers.
In a world where extremes of the best and worst are constantly on display via social media, even being mediocre feels like failure and perfection becomes the goal. Creativity, growth, innovation, success… all come out of being open and vulnerable. Inevitably, being vulnerable also makes one susceptible to failure. If we know failure is going to happen, we need to learn to be resilient. There are many tools to look failure in the face. Learn how self-compassion, owning our stories, and mindfulness can help you and your child navigate these feelings.
