CGCC - The Risks of Drugs and Alcohol

Registration is closed

An interactive course for students ages 9-13 on the risks of drug and alcohol. 


The course will focus on:

·         Brain Chemistry and body development

·         Dealing with Peer Pressure

·         Effects of drugs and alcohol

·         Dealing with Feelings

·         The truth about commercials


Note to parents attending: The 2 hour course will also include an opportunity to ask any questions you might have on drugs and alcohol

 

There is no charge for this course.


It will take place on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 9 to 11 am at Maine South High School, 1111 S. Dee Rd., Park Ridge.

It will be facilitated by both Dr. Teri Collins and several high school students.
