King Day Festival: Lift Every Voice

Discover the power of your voice and share your vision for the world at this special Family Festival inspired by the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Immerse yourself in performances by Reborn Poetry Ensemble's young poets, collaborate with artist Indira Freitas Johnson, and enjoy a reading of A Gift from Greensboro by author Quraysh Ali Lansana. Teen interns will lead short art talks in the galleries featuring selected works on view.

Remember—admission to the museum is free for Illinois residents on this day as part of Free Winter Weekdays. We’ll see you there!
