Middle SchoolBook Group

 

An open book group for any middle schooler who enjoys reading, and meeting others who love to read and discover new books.  Bring your favorite book of the month, share what you liked about it with the group and listen to others who want to share.  The meeting will start with an icebreaker. Book sharing will follow. If there is time, more book ideas will be shared.  The first meeting will be facilitated by Jen Meyer, a former Youth Services Librarian.  Parents are welcome to sit in. In fact we would like a volunteer parent each month to stay with the group and help out as needed. 

The meeting will be held at the Gifted Learning Center - North Shore, 466 Central Ave Northfield, Illinois 60093. For a map, see there web site:  www.giftedlearningcenter.org/about-us/

Many thanks for the Gifted Learning Center for allowing us to use their space! 

Free to members and Gifted Learning Center clients, fee of $5 for other, to help cover expenses. 

Registration is required, as participation is limited to 15.
