SOS for 2e Guest Speaker Event

Adrienne Osmun

Speaking on a 2E Issue
December 5, 2016
Naperville Municipal Building – Room B
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

If you’re the parent of a child with executive function deficits or other disabilities, you have likely become entrenched in strategies to help him/her organize school work.  You most likely have a considerable amount of paperwork including doctor’s evaluations, school reports and documentation, school work samples, emails, and a host of other documents that you may need to refer to as you advocate for your child.  Add this to the incredible amounts of school paperwork that come home in any given week and it is a wonder any of us can find our kitchen countertops!  How is your organization system holding up?  Are you more in control of organizing your child than you are in organizing yourself?  You are not alone!

Join us in December to get your child’s school documentation organized.  Adrienne Osmun M.S.Ed., Education and Learning Consultant, will be there to identify critical documentation to keep track of, strategies for sorting and organizing, and to answer questions about executive function and why this process can be so difficult for our children and maybe, for us too!  This is a working session amongst other parents.  Bring your binder, tablet, laptop, expandable file, or whatever portable filing solution you feel most comfortable with.  And, bring all those documents that have been piling up and looking for a home.  Now is the time to get it all in order before that next school meeting where you may need it.

If you are planning to attend please RSVP to sosfor2e@gmail.com
