Now that our 2e learners have a couple months of school under their belts, the burn out and fatigue of the school challenges may start to show.  Come and learn with Carlene Bauwens techniques and strategies to avoid these pitfalls and accommodate our children so they can achieve academic success.  Topics covered in this events are:

  • Become aware of the signs of burnout
  • Learn the Difference between stress and anxiety
  • Understand the 3 Factors that make burnout happen quicker and more often for your child.
  • Implement Strategies that actually work to help your child AVOID burnout.

 

Carlene Bauwens Bio

Carlene Bauwens works with people of all ages who are ready to move past their ADD/ADHD challenges, focus on their strengths and flourish in their personal, academic and business lives. As an ADHD Coach and parent, Carlene’s mission is to show people how ADHD is really impacting their family, to break the fail-and-punish cycle, and to embrace each other’s differences. She is a contributing author to the best-selling books, “More Ways to Succeed with ADHD” and “Wacky Ways to Succeed with ADHD.” 

Carlene is a graduate of the ADD Coaching Academy and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. She is Certified in Life Coaching, ADHD Coaching, Positive Psychology, and as a Mental Health First Aid Responder. She successfully completed Executive Function training through Rush Neurobehavioral Center



SOS for 2e is primarily focused on providing support and solutions that empower the parents of 2e students to be better advocates for their unique gifted learners.
