Your Teen & You

Join us as Drs. Timothy Dohrer and Thomas Golebiewski share their collective experience of over 60 years in education and social work. The focus of this workshop for parents will be the development of two essential skills for mindful communication, self-awareness and self-management.

Explore how to help your teen:

  • Develop strategies for self-regulation and the capacity for understanding
  • Become aware of emotions related to stress and learn strategies for managing stress
  • Develop mindful communication skills
  • Learn how to cultivate self-awareness

Bring a friend. This program is free and open to the public. RSVP required.

Coffee and pastries will be served.

Our First Friday Speaker Series provides a forum for experts and members of the community to meet and informally discuss topics of interest.
