Emotional Intelligence is inextricably tied to cognition, achievement and well-being.

This SENGinar will provide a variety of research-based tools and strategies to cultivate the development of specific emotional skills. Learn ways to enhance emotional literacy, engage intrinsic motivation and develop optimism while supporting gifted children in growing healthy relationships. All will leave empowered with practices to support youth in becoming agents of positive change. 

Kate Bachtel is a mother, SENG president, SMPG Facilitator, Six Seconds EQ Practitioner and doctoral student in curriculum and instruction at University of Denver. Prior to launching SoulSpark, an education consulting firm, Kate spent three years co-leading the successful opening of a K-8 IB World school with a holistic vision for educating gifted and creative learners.
