Tim Sosa is a PhD student studying fish at the University of Chicago and The Field Museum. Before that, he went to the University of Minnesota, which was a nice change of pace from the desert where he grew up—for one thing, it has a lot more fish. But sometimes when he gets nostalgic for the desert, he watches movies like Tremors orFear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
