Habitat Designer
Shedd Aquarium

Interested in designing a marine habitat?  As part of the exhibit, Habitat Designers, at the Shedd Aquarium, primary students will have a chance to learn about features of marine habitats, including cold/warm water habitats and fresh/salt water habitats.  They will also meet with Shedd staff to discuss key factors in habitat design.  When ready to create the habitat, students will learn how to use a “tablet” and then will be all set to design “living spaces” for their sea creatures.  Creativity abounds for primary students.

We will meet at the Group Entrance on the south side of the oceanarium at 9:30 am.

Class curriculum is designed for 3rd to 5th grades.

Students ages 7-11 can register.

Register by April 19, 2016.

$14 for CGCC members.

$20 for nonmembers.

No refunds.
