Bird Walk (age 10+)

  • March 12, 2016
  • 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Cantigny Park, Wheaton

The local birding scene starts to get more interesting this month. Red-winged blackbirds are back, along with killdeer, common grackle and song sparrow. Hopefully we'll see these early spring birds and others, too.

We'll start our walk from the Visitor Center and go for 2 to 3 hours, depending on the weather. Stay for as long as you wish.

Cantigny bird walks are conducted in partnership with the DuPage Birding Club. They are free to attend, and parking also is complimentary. Beginning birders and kids at least 10 years old are always welcome! A limited number of binoculars are available for those who wish to borrow a pair.

Participants should be aware that attendance on the monthly walks can reach 50 or more birders!
