Family Day: Hair Fair with Mather Seerlo

Join Chicago’s Official Ambassador for Hair Affairs, Mather Seerlo, for a crazy outdoor Hair Fair in the Smart Museum’s courtyard. Mather Seerlo will be our guide during an afternoon of wacky and wonderfully weird hair-art projects, free haircuts (first come first served), a barbershop quartet, and even a hair-do contest.

At this first-of-its-kind family-friendly festival, make wig helmets, create hair mop monoprints, get your “hairicature” (caricature of your hair) drawn, collage hair clipping and magazine clippings into art, and more!

Plus, snack on the hair-like Greek desert Kataifi.
