Volcanoes Lecture

Geologist Sara Kurth presents an interactive lecture on volcanoes. She will discuss the mechanisms of how volcanoes work, and compare different eruption styles. This presentation will focus on recent volcanic eruptions and explore how volcanoes can both positively and negatively affect local and global communities. Hands-on specimens will be available to see and touch.


Lecture – 2:00 p.m. – 60 minutes - Youth to Adult
Regular Museum Admission, Museum Members Free
