Backyard Birds of Illinois Workshop & Nature Walk

Backyard Bird Workshop 2:00-3:00 pm


This workshop is intended for nature enthusiasts and beginning birders. We will investigate some of the most common backyard birds of Illinois. Learn basic backyard birding techniques and be able to identify each bird by sight and by sound.


Nature Walk 3:00-4:00 pm


Join us for a nature walk around Lake St. Benedict. We will look for birds and listen for their calls as we explore the 1/2 mile trail on the campus.


Free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Children must be attended by an adult. Please register by April 23, 2015.
