  • 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Crabtree Nature Center, Barrington

Citizens for Conservation (CFC) presents:

Bring your binoculars and join birdwatchers all over the world to create a real-time snapshot of where the birds are.

Participants will learn how to identify birds, view pictures of most common birds to see in winter, observe birds at feeders, hike a trail while counting birds, and then head indoors to compile their data. Each child will receive Audubon Adventures magazine, provided by Prairie Woods Audubon.

This class is open to children ages 4 and older, and parents are welcome to attend. CFC members are free; nonmembers pay $5 for the first child and $1 for each additional child, payable at the door. (Please make checks payable to Citizens for Conservation.)  Class size is limited to 30 children. Registration required.
