The appearance of giftedness shifts and morphs according to internal and external stimuli. Gifted children can seem like a moving target, in terms of how to best meet their social, emotional, and academic needs. Research has shown us that gifted children can often be categorized as six different types. In this workshop we will explore how to identify and better support gifted children who are not showing up in a typical, high-achieving way. Join Jade Rivera, Gifted Homeschoolers Forum Ambassador and gifted family coach to discuss the successful strategies she has developed for supporting gifted children in her eight years of working with families like yours.

While Joan is well known in the homeschooling community, this discussion will be appropriate for parents of both home schooled and traditionally school children.
