At this roundtable we will discuss understanding the anomalies of gifted boys. You see them play video games or read books for hours at a time, but they’d rather see a dentist than do homework. Some days they act like they’re 30 and other days like they’re 3. This discussion will help shed some light on these behaviors and many more. Please bring your burning questions and discover new, pragmatic strategies for dealing with gifted boys.

Mark Talaga M.A., LPC is a former video game developer, turned counselor of gifted children, pre-teens and teenagers, giving him a unique ability to connect with his patients! Mark holds an MA in Counseling from the Adler School of Professional Development.  He is Director of Counseling at The Center for Identity Potential in Park Ridge, where he works collaboratively to help children activate their potential.
