"Latin is a dead language, right?" Actually, no! Latin is very much alive! It’s the root of the Romance languages (the most well known being Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, and Romanian). It provides the root words for all of the modern sciences. It is (in my opinion) delightful to learn!  In this class, we will cover 1st and 2nd declension nouns and adjectives and 1st and 2nd conjugation verbs with the aid of a textbook and flashcards. If the material is too easy, I can introduce students to the next level of the Latin curriculum.

This class will be using Latina Christiana (beginning Latin program aimed towards all ages)."

This is a continuing class from the fall. If you are interested in jumping in, please email us.

$15.50

3 to 7 students

ages 7-10

Angelica is a teen from co-op that likes Latin and nerdy stuff and is excited to be teaching her third class at co-op. She has also earned an outstanding achievement ribbon from the NLE. That’s fun.
