Mathtastix description


35min. class during the first HALF BLOCK (2nd half block is free period for playtime)


Learn and review fundamental math skills through games, exercise, music, and more.  Skills taught will include counting, skip counting, measuring, addition/subtraction, multiplication, fractions, and geometry. Differentiation will be made to accommodate students' current math levels, up to and including multiplication and division.


Math supplies required: 

3 prong folder or 1" binder

pencil

30 counters of some sort (kidney beans, paper clips, whatever you want)

colored pencils

a Nerf-ish gun your child is capable of loading & firing (exact brand doesn't matter, any kind of non-water gun that can be used to fire at numbers on the wall)


Please tell me what your child is presently studying in math.

Age range: flexible
