Teen STEM Cafes are designed by teens, for teens!

Teen STEM Cafe brings together students in grades 7-12  from local schools to learn and discuss Science, Technology, Engineering and Math in a fun and engaging way.  Our program is a partnership between Northern Illinois University STEM Outreach and Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy's new award-winning Innovation Center (IN2) designed to build community collaborations through programs and events.

You don't have to be Niel DeGrasse Tyson to be into Astrophysics. There is so much to explore about the cosmos and intergallactic energy   We hope you'll GRAVITATE to our Free event on SUNDAY, MARCH 11 from 6pm to 8pm because our teens want to talk about it.  With interstellar hands-on activities and the support of subject matter experts  from Northern Illinois University we can begin to understand how the universe works.  Registered participants will enjoy an interactive experience and a light dinner courtesy of our sponsors at Caterpillar.
