Gaslighting at Work: How to Stop Workplace Bullying that Impacts Neurodivergent Professionals

  • May 19, 2026
  • 12:00 PM
  • ADDitude Webinar

Gaslighting’ was chosen as the Word of 2022 by the Merriam-Webster dictionary after its search volume increased by more than 1,000 percent. So, what, exactly, is gaslighting and how should neurodivergent professionals, who are hit particularly hard by such abusive interactions at work, manage this on the job?

Gaslighting at work can make neurodivergent workers feel responsible for the wrongs being systemically done to them by toxic managers and colleagues. In this webinar, we examine how gaslighting functions, case studies of its use, the impact on neurodivergent employees, and ways to protect against it. You also will learn about six proven strategies grounded in neuroscience that can act as armour for brains enduring this kind of workplace trauma.

In this webinar you will learn:

  • About gaslighting behavior and what it looks like at work
  • How normalized bullying and gaslighting can target top employees and harm their careers and health
  • Strategies for employees to identify gaslighting before it harms their brain
  • Neurological characteristics of individuals who abuse others in the workplace
  • About the neuroscientific underpinnings that empower us to halt bullying and gaslighting in the workplace
