Midwest Academy for Gifted Education and the Chicago Gifted Community Center are excited to bring you a Free Gifted Parenting Education Series in its 6th season. We will provide this both virtually and in-person. The format of each event in the series is a 30 minute presentation on the topic, followed by 15-30 minutes of questions from the audience and a 15-30 minutes mingle.

Gifted 102: Testing and Identification (the basics)

Do you suspect that your child might be gifted? Do you suspect that your child is 2e? Is your child gifted or are they just academically talented? Is your child an underachiever, or do they have a learning difference? When should I test my child? Why should I test my child? What kind of testing is there for all these different things, and how to pick? What is a test ceiling? How reliable is the testing? What should you do before the testing? What should you expect during testing? How to talk to your child about testing? All this, and more.

No refunds unless workshop is cancelled. Fee waivers available. Contact us for details.

Cannot make this event? Please check out the future events in the series.
