aDNA Youth and Family Workshop

Have you ever been curious about the more scientific side of archaeology? In this program, you will learn the basics of DNA—its structure, what it looks like, and why it’s important. We will work together to build a model with candy and then extract DNA you can see from a banana! You’ll learn with ISAC educators who will also show you how archaeologists use and study DNA.

Ages 8+

ISAC Nonmember student $10, nonmember adult $5
