Explaining your child sometimes can be complex and challenging to their teachers.  This presentation will guide you on how to use your neuropsychic report creating an one page student profile for the school to guide your discussions.  This will include the strengths, areas of concerns and the type of accommodations needed based on the class.   The strategy is not to focus only on areas of struggles but use a strength approach solution that this will frame your child for success at their school.

About the presenter:

Carole founded SOS for 2e in 2011 and continues to advocate for children rights locally, statewide and nationally.  Currently Carole is the President-Elect of the Chicago Gifted Community Center, State Advocate for Lives in the Balance, appointed on the Board of Directors for the 708 Naperville Mental Health Board and serves on the Policy and Advocacy Committee for Illinois Association for Gifted Children.  Her goal is to meet all learner's needs and support families so children can thrive and reach their potential.
