ISAC Winter Festival: Stories from Ancient Babylonia

  • December 09, 2023
  • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures, The University of Chicago

All ages!

Free!

Warm up in the ISAC Museum as we celebrate Babylonian culture with crafts, ornament making, story time, music, games and more! Stop by for a family friendly tour and linger in our auditorium as we screen the world's first animated movie.

The authors of our new children’s book The Adventures of Inanaka and Tuni will be on site to answer questions about how kids learned to write in ancient Babylonia. Keep your eyes out for Tuppi, our newest exhibition mascot, and learn all about their origin.
